On March 27, the President signed into law the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act, PL 116-136). Among other provisions, the CARES Act contains several new SBA loan and debt relief programs, including the: Paycheck Protection Program, Economic Injury Disaster Loans, and SBA debt relief, for the self-employed, independent contractors, and small and large businesses suffering economic damage from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
